These terms govern your use of Hero Call. By creating an account, you agree to them.
Who can use Hero Call
You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any child you use the app with. Hero Call is a tool for you to use — it is not a service your child signs into or operates independently.
What Hero Call is (and isn't)
Hero Call lets you trigger a surprise call from an original, fictional hero character to your child's device, to encourage positive behavior through praise and a simple "mission" — never through fear, threats, or impersonation of real authority figures (including law enforcement). This is a deliberate design principle, not just a policy requirement, and we won't add features that work against it.
Your account
You sign in with Google. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure — anyone with access to it can access your Hero Call account, including your credit balance and purchase history.
Credits and purchases
- Credits are purchased through Google Play Billing and spent within the app on calls and custom character generation.
- All purchases are billed and processed by Google Play; refunds are handled per Google Play's own policies.
- Credits have no cash value outside the app and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged.
- We reserve the right to adjust credit pricing for future purchases; credits you've already bought keep working as described at time of purchase.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the app to threaten, frighten, or deceive a child in a way that contradicts the positive-only design described above.
- Attempt to make a custom character impersonate real law enforcement, a real person, or existing copyrighted characters.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or abuse the service.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Custom characters
Characters you generate are for your personal, non-commercial use within the app. We may review generated content for compliance with these terms and our content guidelines.
Disclaimers
Hero Call is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the app will be available at all times, or that AI-generated conversation will be free of errors. Hero Call is not a substitute for professional parenting, child development, or mental health advice.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, [ENTITY_NAME] is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
